Getting Married in Hawaii
For a Honeymoon or a Destination Wedding, there are few places in the US that can match the beauty of Hawaii. Oahu and Maui are the two most popular islands to visit. Each has its own personality.

Oahu
On Oahu with Honolulu and Waikiki Beach, there is plenty of nightlife, lots of activities, and great restaurants. The must-sees and dos include visiting the North Shore and Pearl Harbor. There are Luaus to experience. Honolulu is a fast-paced city.
My favorite hotel is on Waikiki Beach in an excellent location for a Wedding and a Honeymoon. Most importantly, it’s locally owned with a deep respect for Hawaiian culture, tradition, and environmental sustainability.

Maui
Maui, on the other hand, is less commercialized with a much slower pace. There is a lot to do and see. The Road to Hana is a recommended tour. Viewing the sunrise from atop the 10,023-foot Haleakala is spectacular. There is Whale Watching during the season. Lahaina is an old whaling town transformed. There are great restaurants and a little nightlife.
My favorite hotel is on Ka’anapali Beach. Here you can experience Hawaiian Culture in your wedding ceremony and during your honeymoon. This family-owned hotel has won numerous awards and has recently been rated Number 1 in Maui.
